- With me, you can always anticipate friendly and open communication, great customer service, and prompt turnaround times. Feel free to shoot me an email with any and all questions you may have. I proofread using The Chicago Manual of Style and Merriam-Webster's Unabridged Dictionary or The Oxford English Dictionary, depending on your preference. If a different style is preferred, please let me know when sending in the project. If it is an in-house or custom style, a copy should be submitted with the document. I happily proofread:

I charge .015¢/word — all documents with less than 3,000 words will attract a flat rate of $35.00*. Consider an average page (MS Word Document) to consist of 450-500 words at regular spacing and font size. As an example, a 5,000-word document would be priced out as:
5,000 x 0.015¢ = $75.00
*If a document is submitted and I find that it will need a bit more than just my proofreading services (for example, light copyediting), the pricing structure will be amended and it will be billed at an hourly rate of $35.00/hour. The amount of words read per hour will depend on the quantity and severity of errors. Don’t worry! You may request a quotation before making a final decision.
Points to Note:
- Amendments/Annotations are made in MS Word (Track Changes) or iAnnotate (PDF) depending on your preference.
- For new clients, I require a 50% deposit prior to any work being done and final payment upfront, before any completed work is sent back.
- Regular clients will be billed when the work is returned and will be expected to remit payment within the terms of the invoice.
- Payments are accepted via bank transfer/Zelle and PayPal.
